What You'll Achieve:

Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Design 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Present trend forecasts to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Build patent strategies around emerging IP landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for technological black swan events
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or Web3
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (e.g., MIT Tech Review, Wired)
- Experience with patent analysis and IP strategy development
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
