Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies and market disruptors through 2030
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Technology Impact Reports' for executive stakeholders
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps aligning emerging tech with business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and C-suite teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present future scenarios at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Portfolio published technology trend analysis or white papers
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Track record of translating future concepts into commercial opportunities
