Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for transformative technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Develop 2026 technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish innovation governance frameworks for ethical and sustainable tech deployment
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build global ecosystem partnerships with academia, startups, and industry consortia
- Author thought leadership on technology megatrends
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, biotech convergence, or quantum systems
- Exceptional scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Experience with technology impact assessment frameworks
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management
- Published author or speaker at global tech forums
