Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI and quantum computing solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging technologies in biotech, nanotechnology, and space tech
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage pilot programs with Fortune 500 partners for 2026 technology integration
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications
- Coordinate with academic institutions on joint research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Applied Physics
- 8+ years in technology R&D with 3+ years in strategic planning
- Published research in IEEE/Nature journals on emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced AI
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to commercialization
- Strong financial modeling skills for technology ROI assessment
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
