Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2025-2027 horizon) to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for quantum-resistant infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational vision with future tech capabilities
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into current development cycles
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting tech adoption timelines
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight ecosystem
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or Web3
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Strong publication record in tech journals or industry publications
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
