Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) with 2026 adoption timelines
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable innovation initiatives
- Author high-impact thought leadership positioning Horizon Dynamics as a 2026 technology authority
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure technology readiness and competitive positioning
- Build and maintain an exclusive network of futurists, VCs, and academic researchers
- Present quarterly trend briefings to the Board of Directors with data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends with documented accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing C-level decisions
- Published thought leadership in recognized technology or business publications
- Strong network connections within global tech innovation ecosystems
