Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap aligned with global market trends
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology convergence
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to integrate next-gen solutions into existing infrastructure
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage a $50M innovation budget for emerging technology pilots and acquisitions
- Establish partnerships with leading academic institutions and research labs
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' technology forecasts for industry stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 15+ years experience
- Proven track record of developing technologies with 10+ year commercialization cycles
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Experience securing and managing multi-million dollar research grants
- Published author in peer-reviewed technology journals or conference proceedings
- Exceptional strategic communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience building and leading cross-disciplinary innovation teams
