Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and neurotech integration
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives identifying emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Architect prototype ecosystems for metaverse interoperability and spatial computing
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation portfolios with long-term business strategy
- Present technology forecasts to executive boards and industry consortiums
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology validation
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human augmentation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology R&D with 5+ years in strategic foresight or futurism
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar on quantum/neural convergence
- Proven track record scaling innovation from concept to commercial deployment
- Expertise in ethical AI governance frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithm development and quantum-resistant cryptography
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants or DARPA partnerships
