As our 2026 Technology Futurist, you'll work directly with C-suite executives to develop long-term technology strategies, identify disruptive innovations, and build frameworks for future-proofing our organization. You'll lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation solutions while maintaining alignment with business objectives and market readiness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology foresight roadmap for company innovation
- Analyze emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology to identify strategic opportunities
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-generation product prototypes targeting 2026 market readiness
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate future technologies into existing product ecosystems
- Present strategic technology insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Document and communicate future technology scenarios to internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record in anticipating and implementing future technology trends
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong background in product development lifecycle and go-to-market strategies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation
