Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology forecasting and roadmap development for 2026+ innovations
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech fusion) for commercial viability
- Develop partnerships with research labs, startups, and academic institutions
- Present technology impact assessments to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive cross-functional innovation initiatives between engineering, product, and business teams
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at global tech conferences
- Manage $10M+ innovation budget and oversee pilot program execution
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization (3+ successful launches)
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum systems, AI ethics, or decentralized tech
- Executive-level experience in Fortune 500 or high-growth startup environments
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
