Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for quantum computing, biotech integration, and AGI convergence by 2026
- Architect technology roadmaps for next-gen platforms with 10-year strategic vision
- Partner with C-suite to embed future-proof innovation across all business units
- Develop patent portfolios in emerging domains (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology APIs)
- Host global symposia on technological ethics and responsible innovation
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proof development methodologies
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding for breakthrough initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, Systems Biology, or equivalent with 8+ years in tech strategy
- Published research in Nature/Science on exponential technologies or AI alignment
- Proven track record of launching products with 2025+ technology adoption curves
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum ML, neuromorphic computing)
- Experience securing federal grants for future technology initiatives
- Speaker at TED, Web Summit, or equivalent tier-1 tech conferences
- Portfolio of commercialized technologies with exponential growth metrics
