Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic frameworks by synthesizing emerging tech trends, socio-economic shifts, and global megatrends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and research teams
- Author forward-looking scenario plans and horizon scanning reports for executive stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness across product development and operational strategy
- Curate partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks focused on 2030+ capabilities
- Present strategic narratives to C-suite and board members using data visualization
- Mentor junior futurists on trend analysis and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role with Fortune 500/tech scale
- Proven expertise in trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, or human augmentation domains
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ published foresight frameworks or scenario planning projects
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling ability translating complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives from concept to market impact
- Deep understanding of ethical implications in emerging technology ecosystems
