Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical frameworks for AI/neurotech deployments across industries
- Lead cross-functional ethics audits for experimental quantum/neural interfaces
- Design governance protocols for autonomous systems and biometric data ecosystems
- Advise policymakers on emerging technology legislation and international standards
- Conduct foresight research on sociotechnical impacts of 2026+ innovations
- Collaborate with engineers to embed ethical-by-design principles in R&D pipelines
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Technology Policy, or related field (or equivalent expertise)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, governance, or emerging technology policy
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, neural interfaces, and autonomous systems
- Experience with international tech policy frameworks (OECD, EU AI Act, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable guidelines
- Published work on technology ethics or governance in peer-reviewed journals
- Strong background in foresight methodology and scenario planning
