Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with ISO/IEC 42001 and emerging 2026 regulatory standards
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for autonomous decision systems
- Develop transparency protocols for explainable AI (XAI) implementations
- Lead stakeholder engagements with regulators, ethics boards, and industry coalitions
- Create audit trails for AI system decision-making processes
- Establish incident response protocols for ethical AI breaches
- Mentor engineering teams on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field with AI specialization
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics roles
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and emerging global AI regulations
- Technical understanding of machine learning architectures and data pipelines
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design, Google AI Principles)
- Experience with bias mitigation techniques in ML systems
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
