Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI governance frameworks for 2026 technology roadmap
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees to audit AI systems for bias, fairness, and transparency
- Develop industry-leading protocols for ethical AI deployment in regulated industries
- Partner with product teams to integrate ethical impact assessments into development sprints
- Represent Nexus at global AI ethics forums and contribute to policy discussions
- Mentor junior ethicists and build internal ethics training programs
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging ethical challenges in quantum computing and neurotech
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years in AI ethics, compliance, or governance with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global regulatory landscapes
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier ethics journals or conferences
- Strong background in machine learning model auditing and bias mitigation
- Experience leading ethics initiatives in regulated sectors (healthcare/finance preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethics concepts to technical teams
