Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks compliant with evolving 2026 regulations (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for generative AI models and autonomous systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical guardrails in MLOps pipelines
- Advocate for ethical AI principles through stakeholder engagement with regulators, industry coalitions, and civil society
- Monitor emerging AI risks (deepfakes, algorithmic discrimination) and design mitigation strategies
- Create transparency reports and ethical impact assessments for high-stakes AI deployments
- Lead cross-functional ethics training programs for technical and non-technical teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Public Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible AI implementation
- Expertise in global AI regulatory landscapes and ethical frameworks (UNESCO, IEEE)
- Proven experience auditing ML models for fairness, explainability, and accountability
- Strong background in policy development and stakeholder negotiation
- Technical proficiency in Python, ML frameworks, and bias detection tools
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts
- Published work in AI ethics or relevant conference presentations
