Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for machine learning models using Python/R
- Lead stakeholder workshops to establish ethical guidelines for generative AI systems
- Monitor and report on global AI regulatory developments (e.g., NIST AI RMF, state-level AI bills)
- Design explainable AI (XAI) documentation for high-stakes decision systems
- Mentor junior data scientists on responsible ML practices
- Contribute to white papers and industry standards for 2026 AI deployment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years in AI ethics, compliance, or governance roles
- Proficiency in Python/R for bias detection and fairness metrics implementation
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and ACM Code of Ethics
- Experience with LLM governance frameworks (e.g., Anthropic's Constitutional AI)
- Strong background in moral philosophy or applied ethics
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., IEEE Ethics Certification)
- Prior work with regulatory bodies or tech policy advocacy groups
