Responsibilities

- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning models and datasets
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees to evaluate high-stakes AI deployments
- Develop transparent explainability protocols for complex AI decision systems
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in product development lifecycles
- Author whitepapers and policy recommendations for regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior researchers on responsible AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Computer Science, Ethics, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Proven expertise in bias mitigation and fairness metrics for ML systems
- Published research on AI ethics or explainable AI (XAI) in top-tier journals
- Experience working with regulatory bodies (NIST, EU AI Act, etc.)
- Strong background in privacy-preserving AI techniques and differential privacy
- Exceptional communication skills for technical/non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating real-world AI ethics implementations
