Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical risk assessment frameworks for AI systems
- Lead cross-functional working groups on algorithmic fairness and transparency
- Develop predictive models for long-term societal impacts of AI deployments
- Author white papers and policy recommendations for regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior researchers in ethics-first design methodologies
- Partner with product teams to embed ethical safeguards into development pipelines
- Represent the company at international AI governance forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or tech ethics leadership
- Published research on algorithmic bias or AI transparency frameworks
- Experience with regulatory environments (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Expertise in participatory design methodologies with diverse stakeholders
- Strong background in predictive modeling and quantitative analysis
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
