Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide AI ethics frameworks aligned with emerging regulations
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for autonomous decision systems
- Lead stakeholder dialogues across engineering, legal, and policy teams
- Author white papers on AI governance for industry consortiums
- Design ethics-by-design protocols for generative AI deployments
- Mentor junior researchers in responsible AI methodologies
- Represent company at global AI ethics summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or technology ethics
- Published research on algorithmic bias or explainable AI
- Expertise with EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and OECD principles
- Strong proficiency in Python for bias auditing tools
- Experience with cross-functional ethical technology implementations
- Exceptional communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating real-world AI ethics impact
