We're seeking a visionary thinker to lead our AI Ethics Lab, where you'll develop governance protocols for generative AI, bias mitigation algorithms, and transparency frameworks. Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks for enterprise-scale generative models
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI systems for bias, fairness, and transparency
- Develop industry-leading ethical guidelines for autonomous decision-making systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development pipelines
- Present ethical impact assessments to C-suite executives and regulatory bodies
- Research emerging ethical challenges in quantum computing and neuromorphic AI
- Mentor junior data scientists on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or tech ethics leadership
- Expertise in bias detection algorithms and fairness metrics (e.g., AIF360, IBM Fairness 360)
- Published work on AI ethics or technology ethics in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong background in machine learning model development and deployment
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethics concepts to diverse stakeholders
