Responsibilities
- Develop Governance Frameworks: Architect comprehensive policies and ethical guidelines for AI deployment across all product lines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor global legislative trends (e.g., EU AI Act, US Executive Orders) and adapt our internal strategies accordingly.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with external bodies, policymakers, and academic institutions to advocate for responsible AI development.
- Risk Management: Identify potential ethical risks and bias in machine learning models before production deployment.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Integrate policy considerations into the long-term technological roadmap of the company.
- Training & Education: Conduct internal workshops to educate engineering and product teams on compliance and ethics.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Law, Computer Science, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in tech policy, regulatory affairs, or a combination of legal and technical expertise.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, NLP, and generative AI technologies.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable policy language.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of influencing senior leadership and navigating high-stakes regulatory environments.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in AI ethics or data privacy are highly preferred.
