Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel AI algorithms for quantum-accelerated computing systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing predictive models for climate and healthcare applications
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Secure $2M+ in research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates in ethical AI development frameworks
- Prototype production-ready systems using TensorFlow Quantum and PyTorch
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum machine learning or neuromorphic computing
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages (Q# or Qiskit)
- Published record in Nature/Science journals on AI or quantum topics
- Expertise in ethical AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Strong track record of securing federal research grants
