Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable autonomous vehicle architectures
- Develop hardware-in-loop simulation environments for system validation
- Lead integration of LiDAR, radar, camera, and ultrasonic sensor systems
- Optimize real-time decision-making algorithms for urban and highway scenarios
- Establish robust cybersecurity frameworks for vehicle networks
- Collaborate with regulators to shape autonomous vehicle policy
- Mentor engineering teams on best practices for safety-critical systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering; Master's or PhD preferred
- 8+ years experience in autonomous systems or robotics
- Expertise in C++, Python, ROS, and automotive-grade software (AUTOSAR)
- Deep understanding of sensor fusion, SLAM, and path planning algorithms
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong background in functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434)
- Proven track record of shipping production-level autonomous systems
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to technical and non-technical stakeholders
