Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming customer inquiries via live chat with empathy, accuracy, and a professional tone.
- Diagnose and resolve technical and billing issues using provided knowledge bases and scripts.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical team or supervisor while keeping the customer informed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions within the CRM database.
- Identify opportunities to upsell products or services that align with the customer's needs.
- Adhere to all company policies, compliance standards, and quality assurance guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher in a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, technical support, or chat support roles.
- Excellent typing speed (40+ WPM) and accuracy.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly.
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Reliable internet connection required if working remotely.
