Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Define and communicate the long-term technical vision for Nexus Horizons' AI products leading up to and beyond 2026.
- R&D Leadership: Lead a team of elite researchers in developing novel neural architectures and reinforcement learning models.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant systems capable of processing exabyte-scale data streams in real-time.
- Patent & Publication: Drive intellectual property creation by publishing breakthrough research and securing patents for proprietary technologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering leads to translate theoretical research into deployable, market-ready solutions.
- Industry Thought Leadership: Represent Nexus Horizons at global conferences, shaping industry standards and fostering partnerships.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier institution.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in AI/ML research, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or architectural role.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs).
- Research Track Record: A proven history of publishing in top-tier venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) and securing patents.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to balance cutting-edge research with practical business constraints and timelines.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and investors.
