Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech) and translate them into actionable strategic initiatives
- Develop and maintain a 5-year innovation roadmap aligned with market forecasts and technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional futurist workshops with C-suite executives to align organizational vision
- Establish scenario-planning frameworks to mitigate risks and capitalize on emerging opportunities
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Build and mentor a dedicated foresight team of trend analysts and strategic futurists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or executive leadership with proven impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent field
- Published author or keynote speaker on disruptive technologies and societal transformation
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi technique, causal layered analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Experience scaling foresight programs within Fortune 500 or high-growth tech enterprises
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prediction of market shifts (2018-2023)
