Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and chat for internal employees
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and network connectivity
- Document all support tickets in our service desk system with detailed resolution steps
- Escalate complex issues to senior technicians with clear problem descriptions
- Assist with new employee IT setup including device provisioning and account creation
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and peripherals
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and self-service resources
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred but not required)
- 0-2 years of professional IT experience (students and career changers welcome)
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software concepts
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving abilities
- CompTIA A+ certification is a plus but not mandatory
- Valid driver's license for occasional equipment transport
