Responsibilities
- Orchestrate Event Logistics: Manage the end-to-end logistical planning for stadium operations, vendor coordination, and transportation flows during the 2026 World Cup.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between international federations, local authorities, and venue partners to ensure alignment on operational protocols.
- Crisis Management: Develop and execute comprehensive safety and security plans, including emergency response procedures and contingency strategies.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor real-time operations data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for maximum efficiency.
- Vendor Management: Oversee the selection, contracting, and performance of third-party service providers, including security, catering, and technology firms.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operational activities adhere to FIFA regulations, local US laws, and international labor standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in event operations, sports management, or large-scale venue management.
- Global Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of international sporting regulations and FIFA protocols is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse international stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet).
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently and work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, leading up to and during the event.
