Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and personnel to prevent security breaches and safety violations
- Operate surveillance systems and respond to emergency protocols
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during incidents
- Conduct regular patrols and document security activities
- Train and supervise junior security staff during shifts
- Implement access control procedures for facilities
- Prepare detailed incident and shift activity reports
- Maintain communication with central command center
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; security certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid California Guard Card and firearm permit (if applicable)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/nights
- Strong decision-making under pressure
- Basic first aid/CPR certification
- Proficient with surveillance technology and reporting software
