Responsibilities
- Plan and execute 3-5 weekend events per month across Austin venues
- Coordinate vendor setups, staffing, and attendee flowManage event budgets and vendor contracts
- Train and supervise 5-10 weekend staff members
- Ensure compliance with city permits and safety regulations
- Create post-event reports with attendee metrics and ROI analysis
- Build relationships with local businesses and community partners
Qualifications
- Proven event coordination experience (2+ years)
- Available for all weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of Austin's event venues and logistics
- Certification in CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in event management software (Eventbrite, Cvent)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills under pressure
- Spanish language proficiency (highly preferred)
