Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and weekend nursing teams for coordinated care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with real-time updates
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Train and mentor weekend support staff to maintain service excellence
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Medical Technology (or equivalent experience)
- Current Texas state license (RN, LPN, or CMA) with weekend shift experience
- BLS/ACLS certification and minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse patient populations
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced weekend environments with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend schedules as needed
