Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams during off-hours
- Respond to medical emergencies with calm professionalism
- Participate in weekend patient discharge planning
- Lead weekend staff huddles and safety briefings
Qualifications
- Active DC nursing license (LPN/RN)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Weekend availability mandatory
- Strong EHR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to start within 48 hours of offer
- Excellent crisis management skills
- Weekend shift experience preferred
