Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Administer medications and treatment protocols with precision
- Document patient records using Epic EMR systems
- Coordinate with weekday teams for seamless continuity
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations (1 weekend/month)
- Lead patient education sessions for weekend admissions
Qualifications
- Active DC nursing license (RN or LPN)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Ability to work independently during low-traffic periods
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
