Responsibilities
- Delve comprehensive patient assessments and administer treatments during weekend shifts
- Coordinate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams for continuity of care
- Maintain precise electronic health records and documentation
- Implement infection control protocols and emergency response procedures
- Provide patient education on preventive health and treatment plans
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and specimen collection
- Participate in weekend staff development and quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Excellent interpersonal communication and adaptability skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage periods
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification maintained
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
