Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 8-12 weekend staff members, ensuring productivity and safety standards
- Coordinate cross-departmental logistics for weekend deliveries and last-mile transportation
- Implement process improvements to optimize weekend workflow and reduce operational costs
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and operational issues during peak weekend hours
- Generate weekly performance reports and present insights to senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols during weekend shifts
Qualifications
- 3+ years of operations management experience with weekend/holiday scheduling
- Proven track record in team leadership and performance management
- Advanced proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in high-pressure environments
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Ability to work flexible weekends with occasional holiday coverage
