Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations and inventory management procedures during weekend shifts.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Supervise and mentor a team of 5+ warehouse associates, providing clear direction and performance feedback.
- Process incoming shipments, verify accuracy, and prepare outgoing orders for delivery to Illinois and Ohio clients.
- Maintain accurate digital records of stock levels and generate weekly operational reports.
- Perform routine safety checks on equipment and machinery, reporting any maintenance needs immediately.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize weekend workflow efficiency and resolve bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required for this role).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a full-time basis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
