Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in our cardiac telemetry unit during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms, responding promptly to changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants to ensure quality care delivery
- Participate in weekend rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care cardiac nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ACLS preferred; willing to obtain upon hire
- Excellent EKG interpretation skills
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in high-pressure situations
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun) with occasional holidays
