Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities across departments during weekend shifts
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers with precision
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Respond to urgent patient inquiries and triage critical situations
- Oversee weekend staff scheduling and resource allocation
- Implement quality improvement initiatives for weekend operations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- 2+ years of healthcare coordination experience
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMA) preferred
- Valid Minnesota healthcare provider credentials
