Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatment administration, and medication management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Respond to emergencies with calm professionalism and adhere to protocols
- Coordinate weekend admissions, discharges, and transfers efficiently
- Mentor new staff during weekend rotations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and weekend staff meetings
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medical Assisting, or related healthcare field
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with weekend shift availability
- Current Pennsylvania state license (RN, LPN, or CMA)
- BLS/CPR certification and advanced life support training preferred
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
