Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 7am-7pm)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient transitions
- Respond to emergent situations with calm professionalism
- Mentor weekend shift staff on best practices and compliance
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active DC healthcare license (RN, LPN, or CMA required)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS/ACLS certification with current credentials
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for extended weekend shifts and holidays
