Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and support during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for continuity of care
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Participate in weekend staff meetings and quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN license in Kentucky
- 2+ years of acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Electronic medical records proficiency (EPIC experience a plus)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
