Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun) with weekday flexibility
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Respond to emergent situations with clinical competence and composure
- Participate in weekend patient intake, assessments, and treatment plans
- Lead weekend staff huddles to prioritize patient needs and resource allocation
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for weekend operations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare or related field required (BSN preferred)
- 2+ years clinical experience with weekend shift exposure
- Current Nebraska nursing license or relevant healthcare certification
- BLS/ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional time management and adaptability to changing priorities
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in team settings
