Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) in a clinical setting
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Assist in emergency response protocols and critical situations
- Conduct patient assessments and administer prescribed treatments
- Collaborate with on-call physicians for urgent consults
- Participate in weekend staff meetings and continuing education
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field (BSN preferred)
- Active Texas nursing license or relevant healthcare certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, weekend shift preferred
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Spanish bilingual skills highly valued
