Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor 8-12 team members during weekend shifts, ensuring safety compliance and productivity targets
- Coordinate with weekday supervisors for seamless handover and operational continuity
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
- Implement process improvements to optimize weekend workflow efficiency
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation processes
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience with weekend shift leadership
- OSHA certification and thorough knowledge of safety protocols
- Proficient in WMS systems and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays with occasional holiday shifts
