Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ weekend warehouse staff, ensuring optimal productivity and safety compliance
- Coordinate high-volume order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping/receiving
- Implement process improvements using WMS systems and Lean methodologies
- Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure OSHA protocol adherence
- Manage weekend scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with day-shift managers for seamless operational handoffs
- Resolve operational escalations and maintain service level agreements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with weekend shift management
- OSHA certification and strong safety compliance background
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Proven leadership in unionized environments preferred
- Strong analytical skills with KPI reporting experience
- Forklift certification and hazardous materials handling knowledge
- Ability to work flexible weekends (Fri/Sat/Sun) with on-call rotation
