Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead a team of 8-10 associates, ensuring productivity and safety standards are met
- Optimize workflow efficiency using WMS systems and lean principles
- Conduct daily safety audits and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with weekday supervisors for seamless operational continuity
- Generate performance reports and identify improvement opportunities
- Train new team members on equipment and procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory and shipments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or supply chain
- Proficiency with WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and warehouse automation
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training
- Strong leadership skills with proven team management success
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Fri-Sun) and occasional holidays
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
