Responsibilities
- Architect long-term innovation roadmaps targeting 2026-2030 technological inflection points
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing applications and AI-driven predictive modeling
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford research labs on emerging technology adoption frameworks
- Develop scenario-planning models for climate-resilient infrastructure and energy systems
- Oversee patent strategy for 30+ emerging technology domains
- Mentor a 15-person innovation lab comprising PhD researchers and industry veterans
- Present strategic forecasts to C-suite and board members quarterly
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years R&D leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms or neuromorphic computing
- Track record of commercializing 5+ patented technologies
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for AI ethics and quantum encryption standards
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Certified in Futures Methodology (WFS) and Technology Impact Assessment
- Experience securing $10M+ in government/private innovation grants
