Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic scenarios using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype disruptive business models and technologies
- Produce annual 'State of the Future' reports for executive board and investor briefings
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for cutting-edge research
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Mentor innovation teams in strategic foresight methodologies and future literacy
- Represent company at global futurism conferences and policy summits
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism leadership
- Proven track record of successfully implementing future-oriented initiatives
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- PhD or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) required
