Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech) and map their commercial viability for 2026+ markets
- Architect multi-year technology roadmaps aligning with ESG and UN SDG frameworks
- Lead cross-functional sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams to prototype future solutions
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budgets through data-driven ROI projections for futuristic initiatives
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and board members, translating complex concepts into executable plans
- Partner with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) to co-develop next-gen tech incubators
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and adapt strategies for global regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with direct experience in future-tech domains (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with $50M+ ARR impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Certified in Tech Strategy (CTS) or Futures Thinking (CFP) with portfolio of 3+ futuristic projects
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks for prototyping
- Strong network of VCs, policymakers, and academic leaders in tech innovation ecosystems
